March 10-14: Big 12 Basketball Tournament
March 10 - Big 12 Men's Basketball Spirit Rally
The ISUAA will host spirit rallies in the Power & Light District prior to tournament games. The rallies are scheduled by the Big 12 Conference and will last 15 minutes each. Beads and poms will be provided while supplies last. Check www.isualum.org/big12 for more information.
  • First Pep Rally: Wednesday, March 10, 4:50 to 5:15 p.m.
  • Additional rallies will be held as the men advance
March 12 - Big 12 Women's Basketball Spirit Rallies

The ISUAA will host pep rallies before each session in Room 2502 of the Kansas City Convention Center across the street from Municipal Auditorium. Beads and poms will be provided while supplies last and temporary tattoos will be available for a donation. A cash bar and snacks will be available, and ISUAA members who show their cards will receive a free "I (heart) Cy" button.

March 12 - Big 12 Tournament Women's Basketball Gamewatch
Join fellow ISU alumni, family and friends at Kelly's Westport Inn as we cheer on the women's basketball team in the Big 12 Tournament. Bust out your red gear and get ready to cheer loudly! Free admission at the door; Cyclone mugs will be available for purchase (if you have one, bring it)! This is an event that you will not want to miss!

April 15 - Scholarship Application Deadline
Do you know an area high school senior heading up to Iowa State next year? Get their Cyclone days started right with a scholarship. The Kansas City Iowa State University Alumni Club sponsors two scholarships, $1,000 and $500, respectively, for first year freshmen entering ISU; renewals available. For more information, see the scholarship page. Application deadline is April 15.
June 5 - Cy-Hawk Golf Tournament
Start organizing your team now. The annual Cy-Hawk Golf Tournament will be June 5 at Prairie Highlands Golf Course in Olathe. Lunch and registration starts at noon followed by a shotgun start at 2 p.m. Early bird registration is $360 per team; $400 per team after May 1. Registration opens in April.
