WELCOME BACK!
After a short summer break, we’re back at it, planning fun activities and events where you can show off your Cyclone spirit with fellow KC alumni.

Mark your calendars:

  • Aug. 28: Fall Kick Off at Kelly's: Happy Hour from 5 to 7 p.m., gamewatch (ISU vs. South Dakota State) at 7 p.m. (stay tuned for more information)
  • Sept. 13: ISU v. Iowa Game Watch
  • Sept. 20: ISU v. UNLV Game Watch

Click here for the details of our Volunteer Call-Out, coming up on August 4! If you ever wanted to be a part of the ISU/KC Alumni Club–and let's face it, who hasn't?–this is your opportunity.

ISU Wine Glasses
You can still get these swell ISU wine glasses (click on the image for a larger view). Purchase these at upcoming gamewatches or by calling:

The cost is:
One for $3.00, Four for $10.00
A bargain at any price!

A WORD REGARDING KC/ISU GAMEWATCH LOCATIONS:
  • Unless a game is a designated KC/ISU Gamewatch Event (and you will know which those are because they'll be listed on the upcoming events page on our web site), we can't guarantee that any of the locations on our gamewatch list will definitely have the game. We hope they will, but sometimes they won't, sometimes they can't, we can't control it. And:
  • Most of the time, if a place can get a game and patrons want to see it, they'll do what they can to get it on the screen. Consider that sometimes it's just not possible for a location to get a particular game. So don't assume that just because the ISU game isn't showing somewhere, it's because they want to cheese us off.
Go to The Granfalloon (Northland location) on Dec. 8th, because that's an OFFICIAL Gamewatch Event for the Iowa State vs. Iowa Men's Basketball game—we can GUARANTEE you'll see the game there.

CYCLONE TV COVERAGE FAQ
Evidently, Iowa State’s Athletics Department gets more inquiries about television coverage of Cyclone sports than nearly any other topic. Given that, we have been given this FAQ list on live television coverage of Big 12 football in general, the state-wide coverage challenges when the Cyclones are on TV and several options for fans to consider when ISU football games are not televised.
